Happy National Poetry Month! A Month of One-Line Prompts
Happy National Poetry Month!
We’re celebrating in Bewilderness Writing with a month of one-line prompts for any kind of writing you choose, wherever the line might take you.
The lines are taken from the anthology “Healing the Divide: Poems of Kindness and Connection”, edited by James Crew. I thought we’d share some of our prompts in case you might want to jump in and test the waters!
ONE-LINE PROMPTS:
- At night, your beloved wanders
- This breathing is the most ancient language
- One morning you might wake up
- Lie down with your belly to the ground
- Praise the light of late November
Read the line and see what comes up. You never know, but write it down in case it’s mind blowing!
Enjoy.
