Happy National Poetry Month! A Month of One-Line Prompts
Happy National Poetry Month!
We’re celebrating in Bewilderness Writing with a month of one-line prompts for any kind of writing you choose, wherever the line might take you.
The lines are taken from the anthology “Healing the Divide: Poems of Kindness and Connection”, edited by James Crew. I thought we’d share some of our prompts in case you might want to jump in and test the waters!
ONE-LINE PROMPTS:
At night, your beloved wanders
This breathing is the most ancient language
One morning you might wake up
Lie down with your belly to the ground
Praise the light of late November
Read the line and see what comes up. You never know, but write it down in case it’s mind blowing!
Enjoy.
